    Hi everyone,

I have the original Yankee Trader set up on my board but it's doing
something odd. The door is loading and running correctly but when it stops
to ask you your name, the program just abends. No error message or any notification.

I'll turn on the local screen it provides and run dosemu to the console (no virtual comport" to see if there's anything there.

The door does run correctly locally when you use "LOCAL.EXE".

I'll do more research but just wonedering if anyone else has had a similar issue.

I am running the unmodified versions of 3.3 and 3.6 here, with at least one regular user, and have had no reports of issues.

I am changing to the directory that the program resides in, and running this command line:

    YT c:\path\to\DORINFO#.DEF

    I'm doing that as well.

    The batch file I use:

    @echo off
    c:
    cd \doors\yt
    c:\x00\x00 e b,n,57600
    yt c:\doors\node%1\dorinfo1.def
    cd \doors\node%1
    del door*.sys
    del *.def

As I said before, door loads just fine but dumps at that line. Tonight I'll set thngs up to debug. DOSemu can be kinda weird at times about stuff.

I don't appear to be loading anything else special in the BAT that calls the door or the one that calls GT Power that I could point to and suggest.

I think there are a few differences between our configurations.

    (1) I am currently running under DOSBOX-X, but the setup for YT was the
same from when I was running under dosemu.
    (2) I am calling YT from the old DOS GT Power BBS (which is running in the
same DOSBOX-X session) and not trying to call it from a different OS.
    (3) I am not loading a fossil.

So there could be something special that needs doing or some other quirk
that I am not aware of.

There's some TSRs included with YT that I may load up. The odd thing is
that the program starts then just dies. Not going to spend a lot of time on
    it though.
