• Spell checking with hunspell

    Hi All,

If you happen to be building golded on linux and you would like to use hunspell with the built in editor.. I think you will need to install hunspell and possibly hunspell-dev before building golded. I am not sure if hunspell is a runtime or build time dependency.

Hunspell is embedded in latest versions of GoldEd in Linux. Just need to install and configure dictionaries. Dictionaries are availabe in pretty much all Linux distributions. Configuration samples are in documentation and advanced.cfg file.

I suggest not to use dictionaries in UTF-8 (it's very easy to recode them to another 8-bit charset). But it may be fine for English.

That is good to to know, and makes it much simpler.
